About Dr. Alex Papachristos

Dr. Alex Papachristos is an Endocrine and General surgeon with expertise in all aspects of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgery. Following completion of his general surgery training at The Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2019, he completed subspecialty training in renal transplant surgery and endocrine surgery as the TS Reeve fellow at the prestigious University of Sydney Endocrine Surgery Unit. In 2022, he was invited to join the unit as a consultant.

Alex is appointed at Royal North Shore Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital, as well as Ryde Hospital and Northern Beaches Hospital, and provides a comprehensive endocrine surgery service to both public and private patients, specialising in minimally invasive techniques for thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal conditions.
